About Our Benefits Specialist Position:

The Benefits Specialist position is responsible for assisting participants with obtaining appropriate benefit assistance including Medicaid and Social Security benefits.

What a Benefits Specialist at Resilient Health:

  • Meets individually with participants in need of benefit assistance. This includes but is not limited to: assistance with AHCCCS applications, benefits through Arizona DES (food stamps, cash assistance, etc.) and SSDI and SSI applications
  • Monitors AHCCCS renewal information through coordination with the internal claims department and works to avoid participant lapse in AHCCCS coverage
  • Collaborates with Resilient Health administrative and clinical teams to coordinate participant benefit needs and/or updates
  • Documents all interactions with participants in the organization's Electronic Health Record in a timely manner

Requirements for This Position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Behavioral Health Paraprofessional required (must be 21 years old):
    • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (GED) and six weeks of full-time behavioral health work experience, or
    • Associates Degree
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid CPR/First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Three-year Motor Vehicle Record that meets our auto insurance carrier's coverage requirements

What This Position Pays: $17.88 - $18.43, depending on experience
