About Our Housing Specialist Position:
Our TLP Housing Specialist monitors our participants' physical and emotional well-being and addresses identified needs. This position collaborates with participants to identify, obtain, and/or maintain safe and affordable independent housing, teaches independent living skills, and may observe participants' self-administration of medications.

What a Housing Specialist Does at Resilient Health:

  • Monitors participants' physical and emotional well-being to address identified needs
  • Accurately document services provided in the participant's health record as directed under agency guidelines
  • Encourage participants to develop work skills and to participate in social, recreational, or other therapeutic activities that enhance interpersonal skills or develop social relationships
  • Uses appropriate de-escalation techniques Participates in the development and teaching of strategies to promote participant wellness and independence
  • Observes participants' self-administration of medications, following physician's prescriptions and/or hospital procedures and maintain records in accordance with specified procedures
  • Educates participants in performing tasks, such as bathing or keeping beds, clothing, or living areas clean
  • Leads individual or group therapy sessions as part of specific therapeutic procedures.
  • Completes admission forms, assesses mental health status, and obtains participants mental health and treatment history
  • Supports participants with respect to medical appointments as needed
  • Collaborates with participants and their clinical teams to identify transition options from TLP ensuring supports are in place for participants
  • Consistently meet established performance expectations, including quality, productivity, and adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements for This Position:

  • Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) required (must be 21 years old):
    • High School Diploma or equivalent and six months of full-time behavioral health work experience or internship or Peer Support Certification, or
    • Associates Degree and three months of full-time behavioral health experience or internship or Peer Support Certification, or
    • A BHT Certificate from an accredited college/university, or
    • Bachelor's Degree, or
    • Master's Degree
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid CPR/First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Three-year Motor Vehicle Record that meets our auto insurance carrier's coverage requirements

Where You Will Be Working: 2255 W. Northern Ave., Phx, AZ 85021 and routine work in the community throughout Maricopa County

What This Position Pays: $19.25 - $21.42, depending on education and experience
