sign-on bonus for this position! A Masters or Associate Licensed Counselor will
earn a $5,000 bonus and an Independently Licensed Counselor will earn $7,000. One-half of the bonus will be given following 30 days of full-time employment and the additional half
will be given after 120 days of full-time employment.

About Our Co-Occurring Counselor
Position:
Our Co-Occurring Counselor, with a
specialization for Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders, plays a vital role
in building each participant's resilience, through innovative and effective
evidence-based practices.
What a Co-Occurring Counselor
Does at Resilient Health:
- Develop and implement resilience-building
curricula rooted in evidence-based modeling, to specifically address
substance use/co-occurring disorders, trauma, and community integration
- Cultivate individualized readiness for change
approach, focused on harm-reduction and the participant's desire for
abstinence
- Share expertise and technique in training other
staff members
- Loves learning new approaches to building
resilience
- Passionate about using evidenced-based clinical
practices to create resilience
- Enjoys engaging participants using a variety of
motivational approaches
- Uses independent judgement based on specialized
education and training to create strength-based assessments and treatment
plans based on individualized assessment of each participant
- Skilled in or willing to learn non-verbal
therapeutic approaches
- Energized by facilitating group services in-person
and via telehealth
- Uses concurrent/collaborative documentation as a
way to increase documentation quality, promote work/life balance and
engage our participants
- Enjoys collaborating with other members of the
clinical team to improve our participants' experience and overall
resilience

systems and support into the treatment experience

- Detail oriented in documenting each participant's

- Uses independent judgement based on specialized
education and training to plan, organize and conduct therapy groups
- Provide emergency face-to-face counseling and/or
crisis intervention as needed to avert or in response to participant
relapse
- Identify the types and amounts of support
participants require to remain independent
- Maintain participant records, treatment statistics
and other documentation according to company standards
- Participate in oversight of the health, safety and
welfare of participants in the treatment programs
- Provide back up to other outpatient staff as
needed and/or as assigned
Requirements for This Position:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling,
Psychology or a related human service field required
- Previous Substance Abuse experience required
- Associate or Independent Arizona State License in
Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family, and/or Substance Abuse
preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Valid CPR/First Aid certifications or ability to
obtain within 90 days of hire
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to
obtain within 90 days of hire
- Three-year Motor Vehicle Record that meets our
auto insurance carrier's coverage requirements

What This Position Pays: $51,770 - $70,165, depending on
experience and license
