About our Claims Specialist:

Our Claims Specialist aids in the day-to-day operations of the claims department by gathering information and processing medical and psychiatric healthcare claims.

What a Claims Specialist Does at Resilient Health:

  • Verifies insurance eligibility 
  • Scrubs claims for accuracy 
  • Analyzes, researches, and resubmits denied claims 
  • Posts payments to participant accounts 
  • Corresponds regularly with all payers regarding claims 
  • Ensures all claims information remains confidential 

Requirements for This Position:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required 
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare claims setting, preferably in a behavioral health organization 
  • Associate's degree in Medical Billing & Coding, CPC certification, or suitable experience required
  • Experience with EHR and computerized billing functions required
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire 
  • Three-year Motor Vehicle Record that meets our auto insurance carrier's coverage requirements

What This Position Pays: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on education and/or experience
